Chemicals That Are Causing Your Chronic Inflammation
Inflammation is a natural part of the body’s immune response. It can be beneficial when you skin your knee and the injured tissues need care and protection. Sometimes, however, inflammation can last longer than necessary. When this happens, it does far more harm than good. Introducing foreign properties into your body, such as food that has been treated with glyphosate, stimulates the body’s organic immune responses because the chemicals are seen as trespassers. However, since your body likely receives a steady supply of these chemicals, administered throughout the day every single time that you take a bite of food, your immune system is now in overdrive. Your internal organs are chronically inflamed from the constant uphill battle they are fighting and this can pave the way to many different diseases. Glyphosate is not the only culprit in your diet, however. Sadly, there are a whole host of chemicals that you routinely and unknowingly come into contact with that are making you sick and taking years off of your life. Let’s take a look at some of them.
Pesticides
These chemicals no longer fall under the realm of “controlled exposure.” They are on almost every single thing that you eat. They are definitely on every single thing that your food ate while it was still alive. Pesticides are foreign bodies. Our systems are not used to these synthetic and dangerous chemicals, especially at the current levels of exposure. Once they enter our system our immune responses are activated because they have spotted an invader. The constant exposure to pesticides makes it impossible for our bodies to rid themselves of the very thing they are trying to fight and this causes severe hyper-reactions in our immune systems that eventually spell serious trouble for our overall health.
Environmental Hormones
These are synthetic chemical compounds that very closely resemble the hormones produced by our own endocrine system. They have the ability to activate the same receptors as the hormones that are produced naturally by your body and therefore disrupt the natural hormonal activity and balance in your body. These are found mainly in meat products and dairy products. If you consume these as part of your diet, try to look for products that are free of any synthetic hormones.
Preservatives
Sodium Nitrite is just one example of a chemical that is used (in this case mainly found in preserved, cured, and canned meats) to help food obtain a longer shelf life, which in turn makes more money for the manufacturers. Concerns have arisen and been validated over the fact that this chemical causes pancreatic cancer and other serious health issues. Sodium Benzonate, Sodium Sulfite, Sulfur Dioxide, Propyl Paraben, Butylated hydroxyanisole, and butylated hydroxytoluene are all names of very commonly used food preservatives that have been linked in some way to health issues in those who consume products containing them.
BPA
Have you ever been told that if you leave your plastic water bottle in your car on a hot day that you should not continue to drink out of it? Have you noticed that if you do, the water tastes funny? The reason for this is Bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical hardener that is used to coat the insides of many consumer products such as baby bottles, water bottles, metal food cans, and plastic food containers.
Any of these chemicals that you come into contact with on a daily basis can have negative consequences for your health in the long run. If you have reason to suspect that repeated and prolonged exposure to glyphosate from Round-Up or Round-Up Ready products caused your illness, then you need to speak with an attorney as soon as possible. A dedicated and knowledgeable attorney who is familiar with products liability claims and mass torts will be able to thoroughly investigate the link between Monsanto’s products and your illness. Your attorney can help review the facts of your case and can help determine what your next steps should be.
