Grant Hill, CA – Pedestrian Injured in Accident on Imperial Avenue
Grant Hill, CA – (December 10, 2018) – The San Diego police are investigating a traffic collision that took place in Grant Hill Sunday afternoon. The accident transpired at approximately 12:50 pm on December 9th on Imperial Avenue near 29th Street.
Per the initial report, two unidentified vehicles including an SUV were on Imperial Avenue when they violently collided into one another. The force of the impact caused the SUV to hit a male pedestrian who was getting into his parked vehicle along the roadway. Police and firefighters were dispatched to the scene where they immediately rushed to the injured man and stabilized him before transporting him to a local hospital for treatment. The victim’s name and current condition remain unknown. According to detectives, video footage shows the white SUV crashinginto the driver’s door of a gray sedan. A white Cadillac was also at the crashscene with front-end damage.
As of now, this accident remains under investigation.
