Grass Valley, CA – Gabriel Oliver Rey Killed in Motorcycle Accident on McCourtney Rd

Grass Valley, CA (June 26, 2019) On the evening of June 25^th, a fatal motorcycle accident happened on McCourtney Road. A van collided head-on with a motorcyclist for unspecified reasons. The impact of the collision caused the motorcyclist to eject and land on the street. The accident happened at around 4:50 p.m.

When the ambulance arrived to help, they found the motorcyclist lying unconscious in the roadway. Sadly, he died at the scene despite on-site medical assistance. He has been identified as 66-year-old Gabriel Oliver Rey.

The authorities are still working to determine why the head-on collision occurred.
