Grass Valley, CA – Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on Duggans Road

GRASS VALLEY, CA – (November 25, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a traffic collision that seriously injured a motorcyclist Saturday afternoon. The accident was reported on November 25th at approximately 1:37 pm near Sierra Montessori Academy.

According to the initial report, a motorcycle and an unidentified vehicle were in the area of the Sierra Montessori Academy when they collided for unknown reasons. When emergency personnel arrived on the scene they discovered the rider lying in the roadway suffering from major injuries after colliding with a blue Toyota Highlander. Fire department officials requested an air ambulance to transport the rider to a local trauma center for treatment. The name and condition of the patient at this time remain unknown. Meanwhile, dispatch did not confirm if the driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene of the accident. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the collision.
