Harbor City, CA – Leonard Tarver Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Normandie Avenue

Harbor City, CA (February 11, 2019) – In Harbor City, 59-year-old Leonard Tarver was killed in a pedestrian crash that took place when he was walking across Normandie Avenue.

Police responded to the scene to find that the pedestrian was tragically deceased. He had allegedly been walking outside of the crosswalk on the road when the vehicle suddenly struck him around 6:26 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian stayed at the scene of the accident, which happened in front of 25513 South Normandie Avenue.

Tarver suffered severe trauma and died at the scene, according to police. They continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident at this time.
