Head-On Collision Between Bus and Truck at Magnolia Avenue in Corona, CA Leaves One Injured

Corona, California (June 21, 2018) – One person was injured as the result of a head-on collision that involved a YMCA bus and a Toyota box truck. Police reports state the accident took place at approximately 11:27 AM on Thursday, June 21, 2018, in the vicinity of Magnolia Avenue in Corona.

Initial sources indicate that both vehicles had been traveling in opposite directions down Magnolia Avenue. CHP received a tip from the bus driver, who explained that the truck was traveling at high speed down the street. The bus driver continued to state that she had the right of way, the green light, but the motorist failed to give the right of way. Sources hint the truck driver may have turned in front of the YMCA bus and that this action resulted in the crash.

Authorities have not revealed which victim was injured and or where this individual was taken for treatment. No children were occupying the YMCA bus at the time of the crash.
