Head-On Crash on Rio Dixon Road Results in Severe Injuries

(June 13, 2018) Two vehicles collided head-on Tuesday night in Solano County. California Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred on Rio Dixon and Fry Roads at approximately 7:38 p.m. Two Toyota Sedans, one white and one red, reportedly collided into one another, resulting in severe injuries.

Among the injuries reported were broken arms and broken legs amongst those who were hurt. Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash immediately. They promptly rushed all victims to a local hospital, although the exact extent of each injury is still unknown.

An investigation into the crash is currently being conducted in order to determine who was at fault for the collision. Investigators will be looking to determine whether or not any negligence had played a role in the crash. It is still uncertain if excessive speed, drugs and/or alcohol, or distracted driving had anything to do with the crash.
