Hemet, California – Two Motorists Injured after Traffic Accident at State Street and Oakland Avenue

Hemet, California (July 9, 2018) – Local news sources reported that a traffic accident took place at the intersection of State Street and Oakland Avenue in the Hemet area. The incident happened at approximately 7:00 PM in the evening on Saturday, July 7, 2018. Authorities have not revealed any detailed information concerning the identities of the people involved in the crash at this time.

Based on the reports, a dark gray Toyota and a maroon Honda were traveling in the area of State and Oakland when, for indeterminate reasons, the two vehicles collided. Afterward, the City of Hemet Police Department and Fire Department, as well as a team of paramedics, were dispatched to the crash site and administered aid. Personnel confirmed the drivers of both vehicles had sustained injuries from the impact. Later, these individuals were taken to Hemet Valley Hospital, where they received treatment for non-life threatening injuries.

As a result of the collision, both vehicles sustained heavy damage to the front end. Later, towing teams removed the Toyota and Honda from the scene.

As of now, the investigation is ongoing.
