Hesperia, CA. 1 Woman Critically Injured Following Early Morning Crash Near Highway 395

Hesperia, CA. (July 8, 2018) – A local and reliable news source reported an accident that occurred early Saturday morning and apparently resulted in one woman sustaining major injuries. The accident had been reported at around 2:33 a.m. nearby the intersection of Highway 395 and Main Street. The female victim was reportedly flown to a local hospital following the collision.

According to the report, a red sedan was heading north on the highway when the person driving the vehicle apparently failed to stop at a red light. That vehicle subsequently collided with a black pickup truck that was traveling east on Main Street at the time. Emergency responders arrived on the scene to assist any victims. A woman who was in the sedan had to be extricated from the vehicle following the accident. The victim was then airlifted to Loma Linda Medical Center in critical condition.

The driver of the pickup truck reportedly sustained very minor injuries during the crash and apparently declined any medical attention. The Hesperia Police Department is currently conducting a detailed investigation into the events that led to this crash in order to determine liability.
