Hesperia, CA – 45-Year-Old Killed in Motorcycle Collision on Highway 173

Hesperia, CA (May 1, 2019) On the afternoon of May 1^st, a fatal motorcycle collision happened on Highway 173 near the front entrance of the Mojave River Forks Regional Park.

A 45-year-old motorcyclist was riding his white Ducati motorcycle on the highway when he and a white Dodge Ram pickup truck crashed into each other. The truck was carrying a horse trailer and stopped at a stop sign before making a left turn onto the highway directly in front of the motorcyclist.

When the paramedics arrived, they found the motorcyclist seriously injured and immediately took him to Desert Valley Hospital for treatment. Sadly, he did not survive his injuries despite immediate assistance.

Authorities are investigating to finalize the facts of the case.
