Hesperia, CA – CHP Officer Injured in Car Accident at Intersection of 15 Freeway and Oak Hills Road

Hesperia, CA (February 15, 2019) – A CHP officer was injured in a car accident that took place at the intersection of the 15 Freeway and Oak Hills Road on Thursday morning.

Two people were injured at the time of the accident, which took place at 8:40 a.m. A CHP officer was responding to an incident involving a blue Prius that went off the side of the road. The officer was attempting to park along the center divider, which is when he was suddenly rear-ended by a silver Mercedes Benz.

The officer was taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries. The driver of the Benz, on the other hand, was taken to the hospital with head trauma.

At this time, authorities continue to investigate the accident.
