Hesperia, CA – Four Injured in Multi-Car Crash on I-15
Hesperia, CA (March 17, 2019) – A multi-car accident involving six vehicles occurred on Saturday, March 16th, just after 2:00 p.m., that injured four people.
Authorities were called to the scene and treated four people that were hurt in the collision. Three medical helicopters were dispatched to the crash area, which happened on southbound I-15, between Ranchero and Oak Hill Roads.
Specifics about the crash are still under investigation but six vehicles were involved, with one that was stated to have “smashed against the center divider.”
All involved vehicles suffered major damage. Three people who were trapped inside a white sedan needed to be extricated by emergency personnel.
Three victims were critically injured and had to be flown out to trauma centers for treatment. A fourth was transported to a local hospital.
The crash shut down southbound I-15 for an hour, as officials worked to treat the injured persons and clear the roadway. All southbound I-15 lanes were opened just after 4:00 p.m.
The crash is still under review.
