Pedestrian Accident Attorney
The suspect in this accident will likely be facing a host of charges, most certainly a felony hit-and-run. Leaving the scene of a serious accident, particularly one in which there is a badly injured victim is taken lightly by law enforcement. The negligence and blatant criminal behavior of the suspect, in this case, will likely leave the victim with solid grounds for a personal injury lawsuit should she wish to recover compensation for her injuries. We offer the victim our sincerest hopes for a healthy recovery.
There is no excuse for leaving the scene of an accident and motorists who are involved in any kind of collision are required by law to stop their vehicle immediately, assist the authorities, and offer assistance to anyone who may have been injured. The suspect in this accident did the exact opposite by fleeing the scene, and once caught, they will be held liable for all damages that resulted from the accident. Many victims opt to take legal action because the expenses associated with most injuries are typically very high, although it is entirely up to the victim whether or not she wants to recover compensation for her losses.
We here at Brady Law Group find the negligent actions of the suspect in this accident reprehensible and appalling.
