Hollister, CA – One Injured in Multi-Vehicle Accident on State Route 156 and Buena Vista Road
Hollister, CA (January 12, 2019) On the morning of January 11th, a multi-vehicle accident happened on State Route 156 at Buena Vista Road at approximately 7:18 a.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a driver called 911 to report a reckless driver swerving all over the roadway when suddenly a small black Toyota Corolla, a semi-tractor trailer truck and a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck all crashed head-on into each other. Three other vehicles may have been involved in the crash as well. The impact of the collision sent the big rig truck off the roadway and into a field. Another vehicle caught on fire, and the black Toyota sustained major damages.
The paramedics arrived to tend to all injured victims, but only one person was confirmed to be suffering from major injuries and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The authorities are currently investigating this accident to determine who will be held liable and responsible for damages.
