Hollister-Gilroy, CA – Richard H. Holguin Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Hwy 25

Hollister-Gilroy, CA (June 26, 2019) On the morning of June 26^th, a fatal motorcycle accident happened at the intersection of Highway 25 (also known as Bolsa Road) and Shore Road. A 35-year-old woman was operating a 2017 Ford F-150 pickup truck on the highway when she turned left in front of an oncoming motorcyclist riding a 2001 Honda CBR600. The motorcyclist ended up crashing into the back of the pickup truck. The accident occurred at approximately 5:35 a.m.

When the ambulance arrived to help, they found that the motorcyclist had ejected off of his motorcycle and onto the highway. Sadly, despite life-saving attempts, the motorcyclist died at the scene. He has been identified as 37-year-old Richard H. Holguin.

The accident is currently under investigation as the authorities work to determine fault.
