Hopland, CA- Major Injuries in Head-on Crash on Highway 101
Hopland, CA (April 3, 2019)- A car accident caused major injuries around 11:04 Wednesday on US Highway 101 in Mendocino County.
The crash, which took place on the historic green bridge west of Old River Road, involved two vehicles colliding head-on. Following the crash, the vehicles blocked the road, causing the need for police to direct traffic onto Old River Road.
An air ambulance took three people to hospitals for treatment, while a ground ambulance took one to Ukiah Valley Medical Center.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the crash.
