Huntington Beach, CA – Three Hospitalized After Car Crash on Edwards Street

Huntington Beach, CA (January 27, 2019) – Police say that three people were hospitalized after a car crash that took place in the area of Edwards Street in Huntington Beach. The accident took place last evening around 6:20 p.m.

The Huntington Beach Fire Department said that, for reasons that are not yet known, two vehicles collided with one another at the intersection of Edwards Street and Warner Avenue. A pickup truck was involved in the accident and it immediately rolled over. It slammed into a light pole and a building.

Firefighters and paramedics responded and had to extricate two people who became trapped in the vehicle. Two rescued parties and one other occupant were taken to the hospital with a variety of injuries.

The pole involved in the crash was stabilized. Authorities are still working on their investigation of the accident at this time.
