Indio, CA – One Person Hospitalized After Car Crash at Monroe Street and John Nobles Avenue

Indio, CA (September 2, 2018) – One person was reported to have sustained very serious injuries following a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Monroe Street and John Nobles Avenue on Saturday morning, September 1, according to the Riverside County Fire Department. The crash was reported to have taken place at approximately 9:52 a.m.

The Riverside County Fire Department released a statement online which confirmed that there were two vehicles involved, however, the reason the accident occurred is unknown at this time. Paramedics along with firefighters were called to the scene to assist any injured parties.

When the medical personnel arrived on the scene they found that one person was pinned inside their vehicle due to the impact of the collision. The injured occupant had to be extricated from their vehicle, upon which they were immediately rushed to a local hospital for treatment. The victims’ injuries were reported to be classified as moderate.

There wasn’t any other information made available and neither the name nor the current condition of the victim has been provided. Authorities are currently investigating the events that led to this collision in an effort to establish liability.
