Inyokern, CA – Branden Marquise Turner Killed in Fatal Accident on Highway 395

Inyokern, CA (February 5, 2019) – A man who was killed in a fatal accident at the intersection of Highway 395 and Athel Avenue has since been identified as Branden Marquise Turner. The accident happened yesterday morning around 3:00 a.m.

Police say that the accident took place when a semi-truck collided head-on into a vehicle that Turner, of Ridgecrest, had been driving. One of the vehicles was reported to be driving in the wrong direction.

Paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident, where Turner was tragically pronounced dead due to severe trauma. The California Highway Patrol do not believe that alcohol was the cause of the crash.

At this time, the investigation into the accident continues.
