Bicycle Accidents in California
The reason almost 1,000 bicycle accidents happen every year is because drivers don’t usually look out for bicyclists on the road even though they’re required to by law. Even though bicyclists aren’t considered vehicles, they still have to follow the same traffic laws, which means they deserve equal respect on the road.
The police are currently investigating this accident to determine if the bicyclist or the Toyota had the right of way. They’re also checking to see if negligence played a role in this accident. Once they finalize their reports, it’s likely that the injured student will file a personal injury lawsuit with the help of a California personal injury lawyer.
