Irvine, CA – Alberto Brito Killed in Motorcycle Accident on the 405 Freeway
Irvine, CA, – (November 11, 2018) – The Orange County coroner’s office has identified the man who was killed in a traffic collision Friday morning as 23-year-old Alberto Navarro Brito, of Santa Ana. The fatal collision transpired at approximately 7:22 am on Friday, November 2nd on the San Diego (405) Freeway, just south of Irvine Center Drive.
Reportedly, 39-year-old Leon Cruz, of Santa Ana, had stopped his Nissan Frontier and got out of his vehicle to direct traffic away from a crash that had taken place on the roadway. Moments later, a Kawasaki motorcycle ridden by Brito, slammed into the Frontier. Emergency crews rushed to the scene of the accident and attempted to revive Brito, but sadly he succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene of the accident. Tow trucks were used to clear the roadway of debris and vehicle wreckage. Further details were not immediately available and the collision remains under investigation.
