Joshua Tree, CA – Two Injured in Head-on Collision Thursday

Joshua Tree, CA (February 14, 2019) – On Thursday, around 2:34 p.m., police responded to a head-on collision that led to injuries in two parties and damages to the vehicles involved.

The accident took place on Highway 62 in Twentynine Palms, according to the California Highway Patrol, between a brown Chevrolet Impala and a silver sedan.

The vehicles were badly damaged and blocking all lanes of the highway, so tow trucks were requested to take the vehicles from the scene. Paramedics were also called in and took two people to the Desert Regional Hospital for treatment of a variety of injuries.

The cause of the accident has not yet been determined but is under investigation.
