Kelseyville, CA – Jamie Pannyasy-Watts Injured in DUI Crash on Highway 29

Kelseyville, CA (March 8, 2019) – On Highway 175 on Thursday morning, a motor vehicle crash took place that led to critical injuries in one person, identified as Jamie Pannyasy-Watts. 26-year-old Joel Saldana was arrested immediately following the crash on suspicion of felony DUI.

The accident, which involved two vehicles, happened around 12:57 a.m., just south of Cruickshank Road.

The two mentioned drivers were injured in the accident. Saldana had been driving his Lexus when he crossed over the center line. His vehicle went off the road into a dirt embankment and overturned.

Both Saldana and Pannyasy-Watts were trapped inside their vehicles and had to be extricated by firefighters who came to the scene. They both received major injuries and were taken to the hospital. Pannyasy-Watts received the most serious injuries in the accident.

At this time, the accident remains under investigation.
