Kerman, CA – Five People Hospitalized After Collision at American and Siskiyou Avenues

Kerman, CA (August 14, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol released a report stating that serious injuries were suffered following a collision between two vehicles at the intersection of American Avenue and Siskiyou Avenue on Tuesday morning. The crash which was reported to have transpired between a Chevy Malibu and a blue Mitsubishi took place at approximately 5:58 a.m.

Officials from the California Highway Patrol were called to the scene along with emergency crews to provide aid to any injured victims. Several people were trapped inside one of the vehicles follow the impact of the collision. Five victims were all reported to have sustained injuries ranging in severity from moderate to major, including one person who suffered a broken leg.

One victim was confirmed to have been airlifted, however, all five of the injured parties were transported to Community Regional Medical Center. The names and current conditions of the victims are not available at this time. No information has been released concerning the events that led to this collision as investigators are actively working to determine exactly how the crash transpired and why.
