La Mesa, CA – One Hospitalized After Crash Between Car and Dump Truck on Fury Lane and Avocado Boulevard

La Mesa, CA (July 31, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported a crash that occurred between a vehicle and a dump truck at the intersection of Fury Lane and Avocado Boulevard on Tuesday morning. The crash that left at least one person hospitalized reportedly occurred at around 7:00 a.m.

According to the report that was released, a blue Toyota SUV rolled over before landing back on its tires due to the impact of the crash. The SUV ultimately ended up halfway on the nearby sidewalk. The vehicle also reportedly struck a school fence as well as a San Diego Gas and Electric power box in the area.

Emergency responders including paramedics were immediately on the scene to assist anyone who may have been injured in the accident. Reports stated that one person was quickly transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital to be treated for their injuries. There was no more information released in regards to the cause of this accident. Likewise, the names of those involved have not been provided at this time. Authorities are currently conducting a full investigation into this collision.
