La Mirada, CA- Major Injuries in Truck Crash on Gannet St and Valley View Ave

La Mirada, CA (June 14, 2019)- A box truck and semi-truck carrying liquid nitrogen collided in La Mirada on Friday at approximately 12:30 am.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Norwalk Station, the trucks crashed near Gannet Street and Valley View Avenue. Damage to the trucks required firefighters extricate one of the drivers from a vehicle.

At least one victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.

No liquid nitrogen spills occurred during the crash.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
