Lafayette, CA. Crash on Highway 24 at Oak Hill Road Hospitalizes Motorist

Lafayette, CA. (June 26, 2018) – One person was hospitalized after a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 24 eastbound, west of Oak Hill Road in Lafayette. The crash happened at around 2:42 a.m. Sunday morning. According to the California Highway Patrol, there were two vehicles involved in the collision. Those vehicles were reported as black Integra and a red Hyundai. Reportedly, one of the two vehicles was seen driving recklessly just before the crash.

An ambulance was called to the scene, and paramedics reportedly transported one motorist to a local hospital to be treated for serious injuries. Tow trucks had to be brought in to clear the vicinity as the red Hyundai apparently suffered severe damage to the front-end. The California Highway Patrol is currently conducting an investigation in order to verify all information and determine liability.
