Lafayette, CA – Motorcyclist Injured After Collision On Highway 24 Near Oak Hill Rd

Lafayette, CA (April 20, 2019) – Late Wednesday evening, a motorcyclist was injured after a collision on Highway 24. The rider was transported to a hospital facility for further medical treatment.

Officials claim that the vehicles involved include a silver Honda NC700 motorcycle and an orange Hyundai Accent. The reason for the accident is not known at this time.

Both parties came to a stop in the center of the road as a result of the collision. The incident was reported at 6:38 p.m. on the exit ramp for Oak Hill Rd.

Paramedics on the scene assisted the motorcyclist to treat his injuries. An ambulance transported the rider to Kaiser Permanente Walnut Creek Medical Center for treatment of wounds to the legs.

The identity and current condition of the victim have not been revealed by officials at this time.

The investigation is still ongoing, and more information will be made available at a later date.
