What Time Do Car Accidents Happen in California?
In the accident above, morning traffic could have made the high-speed chase even more dangerous. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration collects data about car accidents. In 2005, they looked at what time of day fatal car accidents happen. They found that more deadly accidents happened in California at night. However, for daytime accidents, the afternoon “rush hour” is considered the busiest for all US states.
