Lake Forest, CA – Multiple People Injured in Car Accident at Towne Center Drive

Lake Forest, CA (March 1, 2019) – On Thursday, February 28, around 12:50 p.m., multiple people were injured in a car accident that took place at Towne Center Drive and involved a patrol vehicle.

The deputy’s vehicle was struck by another car while they were attempting to stop a motorist in the area. There were two sheriff’s deputies in the patrol car who suffered moderate injuries due to the accident and were hospitalized.

A third person was also injured. They were taken to the hospital with a variety of minor injuries and are expected to recover.
