Vehicle Accidents in California
Over one million people suffer fatal injuries caused by vehicle accidents in the United States. The top cause of all vehicle accidents is negligent driving, which includes driving under the influence, speeding, falling asleep at the wheel, conversing with passengers, and anything else that distracts drivers. All it takes is a few seconds of distracted driving for someone to lose their life or suffer critical injuries. The most common injuries that people suffer are severe burns, neck and back injuries, spinal cord injuries, head injuries, and brain injuries. It’s important that all injured victims seek medical evaluation immediately after being involved in a vehicle accident. Because at least one person suffered personal injuries, it’s likely that a personal injury lawsuit will be filed.
