Lancaster, CA – 14 Injured, 2 Critically In Southern California Car Crash

Lancaster, CA (April 7, 2019) – A car accident involving a multi-passenger vehicle and an automobile happened on April 6 just after 12 p.m., injuring 14 people. Two of those injured in the crash, which took place at about noon Saturday, are in critical condition.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this injury accident in Lancaster.

More than a dozen people were hurt after a travel van collided with another vehicle in Lancaster. The accident took place near North 60th Street West and West Avenue F.

Passengers in the travel van chartered it in Culver City. They were on a trip to Lancaster to see the poppy fields. The van was traveling westbound along Avenue F when it crashed into a Mini Cooper going north on 60th Street. The van rolled over before it struck a light pole and came to a stop. Several passengers were thrown out of the vehicle during the crash.

The accident is still under investigation.
