Lancaster, CA – 37-Year-Old Masooda Roshan Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Sierra Highway

Lancaster, CA (April 13, 2019) – Masooda Roshan has been identified as the woman who was hit and killed in a pedestrian crash in Lancaster on Tuesday night.

California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of this fatal accident.  According to CHP officers, the crash occurred around at about 7:11 p.m April 9, on the Sierra Highway.

Roshan was killed when she was hit by an SUV while walking on the highway. The woman driving turned to try and avoid striking Roshan but failed.

Emergency responders were called to the scene to render aid, but Roshan sustained catastrophic blunt trauma following the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
