Lancaster, CA – Gregory Barainca Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident on West Avenue J8 and 20th Street
Lancaster, CA (November 29, 2018) – A man who was injured earlier this month in a multi-vehicle accident died while receiving treatment at a hospital. The Los Angeles County Sheriff-Coroner has identified the victim as 57-year-old Gregory Barainca. The collision took place at an unspecified time Monday, November 12th, at West Avenue J8 and 20th Street West.
According to officials, several motorists approaching an intersection at West Avenue J8 and 20th Street West collided into each other causing a pileup. The police were dispatched to the crash site where they discovered Barainca was suffering from life-threatening injuries. Paramedics transported him to a local hospital where he later died while receiving treatment on Thanksgiving Day. Police are still trying to determine the events leading up to the accident.
As of now, this accident is under investigation.
