Lancaster, CA – Jared Intravia Tragically Killed in Fatal Accident on Avenue E

Lancaster, CA (January 16, 2019) – Early yesterday morning, January 15, a man identified as Jared Intravia lost his life in a fatal accident that took place on Avenue E in Lancaster.

Police say that the accident took place just east of 50^th Street around 5:45 a.m. At the time, a 40-year-old man in a Kenworth tractor pulling two trailers had been heading west on Avenue E when his tractor suddenly drifted onto the shoulder of the roadway. This caused the second trailer to overturn, which caused hay bales to land on the road.

An eastbound Honda, as well as three other vehicles, struck the bales of hay as they were driving down the road. The driver of the Honda was identified as 32-year-old Jared Intravia, who tragically passed away at the scene of the accident.

Four people were injured in the accident and taken to the Antelope Valley Hospital to receive treatment. The accident is still being investigated at this time.
