Lancaster, CA – One Killed and Six Injured in Car Accident on Highway 138

Lancaster, CA (February 8, 2019) – Police reported that one person was killed and six others were injured in a car accident that took place on Highway 138 in Lancaster on Thursday afternoon. The accident happened around 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of the highway and 60^th Street West.

The accident involved multiple vehicles. The Los Angeles County Fire Department reported that five vehicles were involved in the pile-up. One person died in the crash and six others were sent to the hospital with a variety of injuries. Five of those involved suffered serious injuries while one was minor.

Authorities closed the highway after the car accident until around 9:00 at night.

The accident is still being investigated by police at this time.
