Lebec, CA- Two Separate Injury Accidents on the I-5 North of Smokey Bear Rd
Lebec, CA (April 2, 2019)- The California Highway Patrol reported that two separate accidents happened nearly simultaneously on the 5 Freeway, north of Smokey Bear Road, at around noon on March 30.
The first crash occurred at around 4:35 am when two cars collided. Victims in this crash sustained injuries and were treated by emergency medical personnel soon after the crash.
The second crash involved only one vehicle. No injuries were reported in this crash.
No. 3 and No. 4 lanes of the freeway were closed in order to clear the accident scenes.
The causes of the crashes are currently unknown.
No other details were reported. The crashes are under investigation.
