Lindsay, CA- Severe Injuries After Big Rıg Crash at Road 196 and Ave 224

Lindsay, CA (May 15, 2019)- The California Highway Patrol reported a big rig crash that left one person with severe injuries on Wednesday.

The crash took place at approximately 4:21 am south of Avenue 224 on Road 196 when a vehicle and semi-truck collided for reasons that are not known at this time.

Paramedics arrived at the scene and found a victim trapped in one of the damaged vehicles. This person was removed from the vehicle and found to have severe injuries.

Three additional victims received minor injuries.

None of the names of the victims or their statuses have been released at this time.

Tow trucks were called to clear the damage from the scene of the crash.

The crash is currently under investigation.
