Lockeford, CA- Pedestrian Dead After Accident on Hwy 88 Near Walnut St

Lockeford, CA (June 4, 2019)- Highway 88 and Walnut Street was the site of a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Wednesday.

According to authorities, the victim, a 60-year-old Lockeford resident, was hit at approximately 5:30 am. He was found in the road unconscious with serious injuries. Paramedics transported him to a local hospital where he soon passed away.

The victim’s identity has not been released pending family notification.
