Lompoc, CA – Four Injured in Head-On Crash on Highway 1

Lompoc, CA (February 11, 2019) On the evening of February 10^th, a head-on crash happened on Highway 1 at around 8:30 p.m. According to the reports, a Dodge pickup truck and a sedan collided into each other near Lompoc at the intersection of Santa Lucia.

Both the county Fire Department and the Vandenberg Fire Department arrived at the scene to offer assistance and found four people suffering from injuries. One out of the four suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center. The other three suffered minor injuries and were transported to Lompoc Valley Medical Center.

The impact of the crash caused a traffic backup due to the highway being temporarily blocked with debris.

The California Highway Patrol’s Buellton office is currently investigating this accident to determine causation and liability.
