Lompoc, CA – Two Majorly Injured in Head-on Crash on Highway 1

Lompoc, CA (August 4, 2018) – Two people were reported to have suffered serious injuries following a head-on collision that took place on Highway 1 on Saturday morning, according to a local and reliable news source in Lompoc. The seriously injurious collision transpired a little south of Ocean Avenue at around 7:03 a.m.

Paramedics along with firefighters were called to the scene of the crash in order to administer aid to the victims. Upon the arrival of the responders, a female driver in her 30’s and a male driver in his 50’s were found trapped inside their vehicles.

Firefighters had to extricate both victims from their respective vehicles. Each victim seemed to be suffering from serious injuries. The female victim was immediately airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage for treatment, while the male victim was rushed to Marian Medical via ground ambulance.
