Los Altos, CA – Stephen Purcell Killed in Bicycle Accident on Oak Avenue
Los Altos, CA (March 12, 2019) – On the morning of March 11th, a fatal bicycle accident happened at the intersection of Oak Avenue and Grant Road at 9:26 a.m. According to the reports, a 67-year-old bicyclist named Stephen Purcell was riding his bicycle when a vehicle struck him.
When the paramedics arrived to help, they found Purcell unconscious on the ground and rushed him to a nearby hospital for life-threatening injuries. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries around 6:00 p.m.
Fortunately, the driver responsible remained at the crash site and cooperated with the authorities as they investigated the scene.
