Los Angeles, CA – Serious Pedestrian Accident on Imperial Highway Caused by DUI Driver

Los Angeles, CA (March 1, 2019) – A DUI driver caused a serious pedestrian accident that led to the hospitalization of the pedestrian in the 1100 Block of Imperial Highway.

The accident was reported around 8:45 p.m. on Thursday when the pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk and was suddenly struck by a drunk driver. The victim had been standing on the sidewalk when the driver jumped the curb and collided with them.

Paramedics rushed the pedestrian to the hospital with a variety of serious injuries. They received trauma to both legs and remain in the hospital at this time.

The drunk driver who struck the pedestrian was arrested immediately on suspicion of DUI. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
