Los Angeles, CA- DUI Driver Hits and Kills Woman in Parked Car on Crenshaw Blvd

Los Angeles, CA (June 4, 2019)- A DUI driver crashed into a parked car, killing a woman inside, on Tuesday at approximately 12:30 am at Crenshaw Blvd and 50th Street.

The crash, which took place in the Hyde Park area, occurred after the vehicle sped down Crenshaw and crashed into the parked car. The force of the impact made the parked car spin onto the sidewalk, killing the woman who was sitting inside.

The vehicle that crashed into the parked car also hit a second vehicle before colliding with a utility pole.

Two women were detained by police due on suspicion of DUI.

The accident is under investigation.
