Los Angeles, CA – Hit-And-Run Accident Kills Cyclist On San Fernando Rd Near Penrose St

Los Angeles, CA (Angel 20, 2019) – An alleged hit-and-run accident has resulted in the death of a cyclist on San Fernando Rd in the Sun Valley area, on Thursday evening.

Officials state that, for an unknown reason, a vehicle struck the cyclist on San Fernando Rd, west of Penrose St. The event occurred around 8:35 p.m. that night.

Paramedics that responded pronounced the victim dead at the scene of the accident.

The vehicle responsible, a red Dodge, did not show any signs of attempting to stop after the collision and fled the scene.
