Los Angeles, CA. Injury Reported Following Car Crash on South Western Avenue

Los Angeles, CA. (July 1, 2018) – According to a local and reliable news source, one person had to be hospitalized after a motor vehicle accident on South Western Avenue early Saturday morning. Reportedly, the victim was injured when the collision that took place at approximately 12:40 a.m. subsequently sent one of the vehicles involved into a church in the 7800 block of South Western Avenue.

Los Angeles police stated that the accident occurred when a car that was traveling southbound on the Avenue attempted to make an illegal U-turn. The driver of that vehicle continued to strike another car, and the impact of the collision caused a third vehicle to crash into the other two cars. The driver who made the illegal U-turn reportedly slammed into the Miracle of Faith Mennonite Church at the end of the crash, according to police.

One of the drivers who was involved in this accident had to be taken to the hospital for injuries that have not been specified at this time. The name and exact condition of the victim are not known. The church suffered some heavy damage as there was a gaping hole left in the side of the building following the collision. Police are currently investigating the events of this accident.
