Los Angeles, CA – Man Dies during Tragic Collision with Vehicle along Northbound 110 Freeway near W Gage Avenue Off-Ramp

Los Angeles, CA (August 2, 2018) – The California Highway Patrol reported that a man was killed during a tragic collision with a vehicle along the northbound lanes of the 110 Freeway, in the vicinity of W Gage Avenue off-ramp. The incident occurred at approximately 9:29 PM at night on Wednesday, July 1, 2018. No details about the identities of the pedestrian or the motorist involved in the collision have been revealed at this time.

Based on initial CHP reports, authorities had received a call from a male Jeep Driver who had confirmed his vehicle had collided with a pedestrian. As the driver explained, he had been driving along northbound 110 and approached the W Gage exit when, without warning, a man ran across the road directly in front of the Jeep, which crashed into the victim as a result.

Law enforcement officials confirmed the unidentified male pedestrian was killed during the impact.

Officials have not specified if the Jeep driver sustained any injuries.
