Los Angeles, CA – Matiana Jimenez Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident; Driver at Large
Los Angeles, CA- (December 12, 2018) – According to the California Highway Patrol, 74-year-old
Reportedly, Jimenez was walking home from the grocery store near Williamson Avenue when she stepped outside of the marked crosswalk and was struck by an oncoming vehicle. The driver failed to stop at the crash site and fled the scene of the accident. Emergency personnel rushed to the scene where they discovered Jimenez suffering from severe injuries. Paramedics transported her to a local hospital where sadly she later died of her injuries. The vehicle has been described as a tan, late-1990’s to early 2000s Chevrolet or GMC pickup truck. According to investigators, the vehicle had a police-style push bumper attached to it. Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the hit-and-run driver.
