Los Angeles, CA – One Man Dragged by Hit-and-Run Driver Following Collision at Slauson and La Cienega
Los Angeles, CA (July 17, 2018) – A man was reportedly injured by a hit-and-run driver after being involved in a motor vehicle accident at Slauson Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The injurious accident reportedly took place at exactly 11:29 a.m. this morning.
The report filed by the California Highway Patrol stated that the man who was injured was driving an unspecified vehicle when another driver in a Mercedes apparently collided with him. Following the accident, the man who was not identified got out of his vehicle in order to speak with the driver of the Mercedes. The man approached the Mercedes and set his hands on the vehicle. According to the report, the driver of the Mercedes quickly sped off, subsequently dragging the man through the street for a brief distance.
Paramedics along with the Los Angeles County Fire Department were promptly notified of the accident in order to assist the victim. Paramedics attended to the injured man who had to be transported to a local hospital in unknown condition. The suspect who caused the victims’ injuries and fled the scene is currently being looked for by authorities. Officials from the California Highway Patrol are presently heading up the investigation into this collision.
