Los Angeles, CA – Pedestrian Dies after Fatal Collision on Northbound Interstate 805 near Imperial Avenue

Los Angeles, CA (July 18, 2018) – Local news sources reported that a fatal pedestrian accident took place along the northbound lanes of the Interstate 805 Freeway in the vicinity of Imperial Avenue. The incident occurred a little before 4:00 AM in the early morning hours on Wednesday, July 18, 2018. At present, no detailed information concerning the identities of the male pedestrian or the driver has been released.

According to the reports, the unidentified man was walking down northbound 805 as a Nissan Pathfinder approached. Without warning, the vehicle plowed into the pedestrian in the area of Lincoln Park. Officials did not specify if the man died at the scene or in a hospital setting.
